Robert Neal
Robert grew up in Athens, GA to the sounds of great Athens bands like REM and B-52’s and joined the Athens music scene (Banned 37, Doo Blan Tant, Elephant’s Gerald). At UGA, faced with the choice of making money or music for a living, he chose money, but kept the drums and the passion. Musical influences include Zeppelin (Bonham), Rush (Peart) and Police (Copeland). Robert helps lead worship at local churches, including his church, McKendree UMC, and is involved in a variety of ministries. Common Ground is a key way to share the light of Christ in an authentic way. Music is indeed the Common Ground.
